No. Greenlite smart lightbulbs can only be controlled via Wi-Fi connections.

If your device is set to pairing mode and you are still unable to connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, try connect your smart device using AP Mode(link at the top right corner of the connection screen).
AP Mode will allow you to connect your smart bulb to the Greenlite app by detecting the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network if you are on a mixed frequency channel. (Broadcasting both 2.4GHz & 5GHz under 1 network name or SSID)
AP Mode:
Some modern “mesh” routers will only offer one channel that even AP Mode cannot connect to. In these rare cases, you can configure your router to offer a separate 2.4Ghz band or create seperate name for each band.

Some routers from manufacturers including Plume and Arris have been known to cause constant problems with connected devices (which always use the 2.4Ghz band). If you have one of these problematic devices, you may want to consider buying inexpensive Wi-Fi range extenders such as this one.

Yes. Once a bulb is activated, it connects to the Greenlite Cloud and can therefore be controlled from anywhere in the world via the Greenlite application.
